In D.R. Congo's conflicts perspectives include; violent rebel groups, a lack of government, and neighboring countries, but at the heart is the children who are tattered by the conflict. From the outside looking in, it's hard to imagine their lives. Imagine being separated from what's left of your family, or joining a violent war at as young as 8 years old. Imagine living on the streets as gangs, drugs, violence, and rape loom around the corners. Imagine being stripped from education and your future just as dark as you expect that one day you'll have to be in one of those military groups, or a parent at a young age, unemployed, uneducated, and out of hope. These are the lives of the children living among the conflicts in Congo.
