Currently in Syria, four wars are happening. The first war is a protest to overthrow dictators. the heart of the problem is the large population of Sunni Muslims is controlled by the 12% of Shiite Muslims. This caused rebel groups to form and civil war. rebels have been divided and conquered. This has ruined the country's economy and society, displaced millions, and sparked three more wars. The second war is a war about religion. The Middle East war of religion between Sunni and Shiites. Fake borders created nation states that contained competing religious groups.
The third war in Syria includes more of their neighboring countries. A proxy war about energy is a battleground in Syria, yet again. Currently, Moscow and Putin are helping out Syria by protecting its natural gas monopoly in the European union, where gas prices are four times higher than in North America. The war is between Russia with Syria and Iran, versus Qatar with Turkey, Saudi Arabia, and Kuwait. The fourth war is the most recent war, also including neighboring countries. Syria's neighbor countries are worried about refugees and weapons that will be used in their countries if the refugees continue to come. All of these wars mean that many children are either orphaned at a young age, they could become child soldiers, or they would have leave their homes to live in a refugee camp.
